On the replacement of a lost pen

wheeeeeee!I'm literally jumping for joy! Hop-hop-hop!
I can avail of the Pressuresensitive Duoeraser Graphire Pen in here! Yup, in here. AS IN HERE: MMLA, PHILIPPINES!No-need to purchase them from US online and spend thrice of its local price. I was sooo desperate to have one since my mother accidentally thrashed it.

On one Spring Clean day
Kris looking now at an empty mug that used to hold all her pens..
Me: Saan na yung mga nakalagay dito?
Mother: Yung mga ballpen? Tinapon ko na.
Me: (petrified) Ano?? Bakit??
Mother: Wala naman tinta lahat eh.
Me *gulps*: (in teeny voice) Pati yung grey and blue? Yung plastic yung dulo?
Mother: Lahat ng laman tinapon ko.
Me: (feels sick) Pero ma...yung Wacom Pen ko, nandoon. Yung ginagamit ko pang-drawing sa computer!
Mother: Ibig mo sabihin wala talagang tinta yun?
Me: (shakes head)

(shakes head) That's why since that dreadful day I always lock my room when i'm not around.Looking at my useless tablet makes me wanna cry.

I've kept looking for the replacement on the internet. Almost every store I've visited would only ship to US territories.And the only store who's willing to ship it internationally sells the product quite expensively ( $35.95 compared to the usual $24 ) and their shipping rate for this country is $36. So for a total of $71.95 i can draw CGs again (or not. cause by the time i have it i'll probably be at an ICU treated for severe dehydration and malnutrition). There's just no way i can save that much.

And then last night..I went to hunt once again. I dunno why it didn't occur to me the first time to visit the official website of Wacom products.So i went and browsed through the list of distributors here in Asia. I was thinking if I could purchase one among the East Asian territories I won't have to pay that much for the shipping. I browsed and among the list is American Technologies, Inc./BN Distributors, Inc. of the Philippines located in Gen. Bautista, San Juan!! I contacted them a while ago and they have the product in stock. The price would be just P1194!

Imagine my thrill :) *does a crazy dance*

To self: Must practice self-control and save. save. save. and i can get it before the month ends. oh i am soo encouraged.
